Our Story
I’m Skye, founder, designer, and mother of two daughters.
Before Dahani the label was born, my passion for ethical, eco-friendly fashion led me to curate my own wardrobe with timeless unique bohemian inspired pieces.
As I learned more about the harsh realities of the fast fashion industry, it made me realise the importance of bringing my daughters up in a world where the decisions we make today can have a significant impact on their future.
After my first daughter was born, I had this sudden desire to recreate a smaller version of my wardrobe for her, which then could be handed down to her little sister.
The thing was, I struggled to find many pieces that met my ethical and aesthetic standards.
Feeling motivated to make a change, I had no idea what I was doing but I put pencil to paper and got designing. The next thing I knew I was embarking on a journey to turn my designs into real, wearable, unique pieces my daughters and I could wear.
By combining my love for textiles and eco-friendly fashion, it inspired me to launch Dahani the Label to inspire women to embrace their beauty no matter where they wander while making a difference. Our collections reflect my commitment to minimising our eco-footprint and creating a better future for our minis.
Dahani Ethics
Our collections aim to evoke the true wanderer within, ethically crafted to roam with you wherever the journey may take you, our pieces are designed with love and thoughtfulness that can be re-worn, re-purposed, and handed down for years to come.
We work closely with small family-owned factories in Bali, who share our sustainable and ethical values and beliefs. Our collections are handmade with the utmost care and love.
We ensure our makers are treated fairly, work in a safe environment, receive a responsible wage and work reasonable hours which allows them to spend quality time with their families.
The Dahani Woman
Our bohemian style embodies the natural, feminine, and whimsical vibe of the modern bohemian soul. A Dahani woman loves to embrace her earthy and dreamy side, finding beauty in the simple things in life. She is passionate about the environment and sustainable living, taking responsibility for her impact on earth and seeking ways to minimise it.
When she isn’t immersed in the beauty of nature, she devotes herself to the role of a loving mother, cherishing every moment spent with her little ones. At the core of our design philosophy is motherhood, which we celebrate through our unique matching prints and versatile pieces that embrace the beauty of pregnancy, breastfeeding and freedom.

Our Commitment
At Dahani we are committed to creating sustainably unique pieces with purpose. We are continuously looking at ways to better reduce our eco-footprint from design through to production and packaging. We believe that by making smarter choices we are doing our part with moving towards a more sustainable way of living.
We endeavor to curate collections with eco-friendly fabrics currently sourced in Indonesia, with our first collection being made from 100% organic cotton and 100% livaeco viscose produced using environmentally friendly methods. To minimise wastage, we only order enough fabric for each collection, with any excess materials being repurposed.
We aim to be transparent in every way, and we invite you, our loyal customers to embark on this conscious journey of design and manufacturing with us.
